Module in detail

Registration that keeps your attendee list correct on its own

Signing up is the first real promise your event makes. If it's simple, quick to complete and confirmed instantly, more people register - and you don't maintain a spreadsheet alongside it.

When sign-up is still manual work

Most organisers start with good intentions: a form builder, a spreadsheet, a shared inbox. Then the second wave arrives, along with plus-ones, cancellations and group company sign-ups - and the same data lives in three places, contradicting itself.

  • Nobody can say for certain how many are coming, because cancellations sit in email.
  • Capacity has to be watched manually and the waiting list kept in someone's head.
  • Confirmation emails only go out when somebody has time to send them.
  • Special requirements - meals, workshop choices, parking - end up in free-text comments.

How it works

The flow follows your event, but its skeleton is usually these four steps.

  1. 01

    The sign-up form

Only the questions that matter, in a logical order, designed for mobile. With conditional fields: someone requesting a company ticket sees different questions.

  2. 02

    Validation and limits

Capacity, deadlines, workshop seats and - where needed - email domain checks or an approval step.

  3. 03

    Instant confirmation

A personalised email with a calendar entry and every practical detail, in the event's own identity.

  4. 04

    An always-current list

The admin view shows sign-ups in real time; you can filter, add notes and export whenever you like.

What the registration module does

Some of this is standard in every build; the rest depends on the nature of the event.

  • Custom questions

Job title, company, dietary needs, workshop choice, parking, billing details - exactly what you need, without filler fields.

  • Capacity and waiting list

Limits per event, per day or per track. When a session fills up, sign-ups move to a waiting list and are notified if a place opens.

  • Invitation-only flow

A closed event where sign-up only works through a personal link, and guests can add a plus-one.

  • Group sign-up

One contact registers several colleagues; everyone still receives their own confirmation and their own entry pass.

  • Approval step

If not every applicant should be admitted automatically, we can add an accept/decline step with its own notification email.

  • Self-service changes

Attendees can update their details or cancel themselves, so your numbers stay real.

Who it's for

The registration module pays off most when there are capacity limits, several audience segments or a lot of repeat questions.
